Board (legacy)

The Network Board is responsible for the overall direction and governance of the Network. It is responsible for

  • Setting the strategy for the network
  • Agreeing the work plan for the network and monitoring performance
  • Agreeing network wide policies and guidelines
  • Prioritisation of network resources
  • Ensuring that the network has appropriate studies in place to discharge its functions


The Network is chaired by the Chief Executive of the host organisation NHS Suffolk but has representatives from the six PCTs; the ten Acute Trusts; the two Research Networks and the Chair of the Patient and Public Group.

The Network Board meets on a quarterly basis.
