Patients and Carers

Cancer networks are groups of healthcare and other professionals, managers, staff, patients and carers who work together to improve cancer care and outcomes across geographical regions.

The Anglia Cancer Network covers the areas of Norfolk, Suffolk, Great Yarmouth and Waveney, Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and north Bedfordshire (see map). This area includes ten hospital Trusts, two Research Networks, ten hospices, a number of PCTs/Clinical Commissioning Groups (currently in transition) and numerous GP and community health services.

The Network’s strategic aim is to achieve world-class treatment, care and support for patients in Anglia.

However, if you are a patient or carer then the sections on the menu in the top left may be particularly applicable to you, whether you are looking for help and advice about cancer or want to know how you can get involved in improving cancer services for the future.
